Green Frog Farm Bed & Breakfast Cabins

We enjoyed our stay at The Pines!! It was very quiet and peaceful. A nice place to get away and relax!

We stayed in The Pines for a few days due to hurricane IRMA. Not only was the setting tranquil and relaxing, but it was better than a five star hotel.

This cabin, along with its surrounding property and buildings, is a comfortable and fascinating experience of rural Tennessee country life from an earlier time. "A log cabin in the pines" is wonderfully rustic but with modern conveniences (but no TV thank goodness), and there's nothing like sitting on the porch enjoying the surrounding blackberry patch, listening to the birds, and watching lightening bugs at night. We loved it.

The cabin lived up to all expectations! Nicely renovated with a big porch to relax on. We really appreciated the tour of the property and loved Johns passion for the green frog. We can definitely reccommend this cabin!

This is a unique property with historic charm in a serene and peaceful setting. The log cabin was clean, renovated and well stocked. John was considerate and personable and there was even some breakfast foods for us including some homemade blackberry preserves. The free admission to the Tennessee Wildlife Safari was a very unique and memorable experience. The one night we stayed here was a nice respite from our stays in Nashville and Memphis. For a taste of authentic country living, we highly recommend a stay here.

My family and I stayed in this lovely little cabin. You can tell it was restored with love and pride. My family enjoyed being able to just walk out the door and pick blueberries and black raspberries. We stayed here at the end of our vacation, it was a nice spot to unplug, relax, and get ready for our trip home.

If you are a lover of log cabins, but with a refined flare, then this is the place for you. The home is well-cared for, and is very clean. The description of the house and surroundings were accurate. Having breakfast foods provided is great! The home has a wonderful 'spirit' about it. The owners are nice people. The kitchen, while small, is most adequate ~ and the eating area is delightful as you look out to the pond. The bathroom is nice, but you need to know it is only a clawfoot tub - no shower. When you enter the home, if steps are a problem for you, then I suggest you go up the steps toward the back of the porch. Sitting on the porch is peaceful. This is a lovely home! We highly recommend the rental of this property!

John, obviously a jack of all trades, walked me though an overview of the property and welcomed us to explore. My wife and I walked the grounds, sat by the fire and read and just enjoy the peaceful nature of the place. We had a short stay, but next time she is working in Jackson we know where we will be staying. It is impressive what John and Nancy are doing and we were glad to be a part of it however brief it was.

My husband and I visited for a belated 9 year anniversary getaway. It was a cozy and romantic cabin. The fireplace was so relaxing at night; and the porch and birds and pond were perfect during the day to lounge and read. The entire property is beautiful and wonderfully restored. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

This cabin was so great! 4 girls stayed for a nice get away and it was just what we needed. The cabin was perfect. We will be back:-)

This cabin is amazing! Its perfect for a couple or small family to get away from the fast pace life, and enjoy what Tennessee has to offer. The land is beautiful as well as this cabin. I would highly recommend this property to anyone. I did not have a lot of contact with the owners but that was not a problem. Everything we needed was there!
